boarding house for fishermen in Hull

Postby amnethyst1974 » Sat Feb 04, 2017 4:57 am

Good evening everyone

I am trying to trace information regarding a Fisherman`s boarding house in Hull, ran by Annie Maud Hardiment and her Mother Liliann Houghton Hardiment. Annie was born in Norfolk England.
My family recalls my Great Great Grandfather, Joseph Richard Smith being at this boarding house, he married Annie, in 1906 in Newington, Hull and was listed on his wedding certificate as being a fisherman in Hull.
Joseph was apparently...Lutheran in religion at this time, and apparently went to a Lutheran church in Hull as a safe place for some reason also. I have him listed as Richard William Zeitz as well as Joseph Richard Smith.

Can anyone shine a light on this boarding house, photos or anything?? Id really appreciate any help any of you here may be able to give.

Thank you for your time this evening
Amy McAdams
