New Tulip Bulb Bow and Active Stabilitation System fitted

18 May 1966 Maiden voyage ( Skpr Peter Craven ) - Sailed Directly from Aberdeen on a 12,000 mile round trip to Newfoundland and Labrador fishing grounds - 68 days 543 tonnes, arriving in Hull for the first time 25 July 1966.

First vessel to be unloaded by a new conveyor belt system on return of her maiden voyage.

04 Aug 1966 Second voyage to Labrador and Greenland damaged plating below the waterline moving through ice, severe flooding was averted by the water tight bulkhead system and pumps, the Lady Parkes continued fishing and made her own way home arriving in Hull 08th Oct 1966 after 67 days 502 tonnes, after repairs in dry dock she sailed on her third trip 28th Oct 1966.
