Fate : 05 Nov 1885 The Hull smack Premier arrived with 3 members of the crew of the Hull smack Lady Elizabeth both the Premier and Lady Elizabeth had been in a collision on Sun Nov 01 whereby the lady Elizabeth sank within 5 min, her crew got into their boat which then capsized 3 hands clung to the bottom of the boat and were picked up by the Premier. The skipper John Evans and his 15 yr old son who was Cook aboard the Lady Elizabeth both drowned.

07 Mar 1878 The Lady Elizabeth was struck by heavy seas on the Dogger bank resulting in the loss of the above mentioned crewmen, the vessel was then reported as been abandoned ?. She was probably salvaged and brought back to Hull. Francis Blogg was also listed as Edward Blogg but there was a Edward Blogg aged 18 aboard the vessel in the 1881 Census, possibly a brother to Francis or there may have been 2 Edward Bloggs ?.
